Posts: 43 Oct 8 11 12:20 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Hey Ladies, Well, fingers crossed and with God's help, my bf should be graduating in 4 weeks Anyway, he wrote that he wants me to bring him normal civilian clothes so he can changed when he gets out on graduation. I'm a little confused about this. Where do they changed from their uniform to their civilian clothes? On the Island or at the hotel off base? Im so confused. I dont want to walk around with a bag full of his clothes and sneakers he wants. He is requesting candy, gum and soda too!! LOL. I will have that in the car waiting for him. But about the clothes, anyone who went to graduation already, please spare advice. thanks

Posts: 58 Oct 10 11 9:02 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Giselle, From what I understand.They are not allowed to wear hooded sweatshirts, My husband still does not wear hooded sweatshirts on base, no ripped jeans/shirts. They need to be very neat and bring a belt. I brought my husband's clothes in the car, he changed in there. It's really just how much patience your man will have before he can wear civilian clothes. Mine waited untill he was released but didn't want to wait till we got to the hotel. I hope this helps! Good luck and have fun seeing your man!

Posts: 7 Nov 27 11 10:35 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Yeah, while they were going thru training they were taught how to dress :P No holes or tears in clothes, no stains, no profanity, or suggestive clothing and shirts with a collar. don't forget to bring a belt. I brought Hubby's although he had to punch out some new holes and take off about 10 inches, LOL. Hubby graduated October 14th and I just brought him a t-shirt that I made for him, jeans, belt, socks and his favorite boots. and a ball cap. He changed into civy clothes about 1 hour after graduation because he couldn't wait to give me some smooches <3 and as you know.... they can't show pda in uniform
