Yippee! That means it is getting real close! I have a question, is that the letter we are supposed to take with us when we go for Family Day and Graduation?

Did it come from your recruit? If it was addressed by your recruit and contains a car pass, then it is the grad packet.
If it contains ad advertisement for photo crystals or any other advertisements, then it is not the "grad packet". This is a little packet of promo information that comes from Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS runs the exchange and other base stores) and is sent automatically to the recruits home of record by MCCS.

My son has waited nearly 2 years for this he left a couple of years ago and just got to processing and was sent home because or a mandipular cyst in his jaw it
came from his ear down to the tip of his jaw he had to wait till he got cleared by medical and he went back its getting closer and closer now I am so proud and
please for him. This has been his dream since he was a 13 year old boy. His dream is getting closer. Finally

Thank you so much its good to see girlfriends, boyfriends,husbands, wives and parents stand by thier loved ones and stand side by side with them and encourge

I hope we get ours soon to, means its getting closer and closer!! I love it too allie1969, my mom did it with my dad when he got drafted into the Army and now
I'm doing for my boyfriend and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, very glad I stuck by his side through all of this! Makes me a stronger
person in the long run... People just don't understand what we go through and will never understand unless they do. Like I said, I wouldn't trade it
for anything in the world! Just knowing that he's doing what he wants and loves and he's grateful for me being there makes it all worth it.

I just wanted to add that the recruits get the paperwork for 1 packet, and they can send it to whomever they choose to. So if you do not get one, check with
the recruits mom, wife, girlfriend, dad, etc. If you don't get one, it's NOT a big deal at all, there are hundreds of people coming to PI who won't
even know that a grad packet went out, so you guys are ahead of the game! Do NOT copy the car pass, that is a federal offense and the MP's CAN tell the
difference! Additional passes are available at the gate the morning of family day & graduation day.
