Posts: 29 Jun 30 06 7:59 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi Guys! We are living in Tuscaloosa...home of Alabama football. Our recruit left on Memorial Day and is in Alpha Company, Platoon 1068. Rumor has it (from a very reliable source) that his PI is a great guy. This is our first military experience. I've been told that Parris Island is hotter and more humid than Alabama. That's pretty hot!

He left Montgomery Mon. afternoon about 2:00 (he got in a phone call to me) going to Parris Island on a van with a van full of recruits, so more than likely they did travel together. Too bad they aren't in the same plt., but I get the feeling they try to split up ones from the same area -maybe not, but appears to be so. Are you from Bham? Sharon PRM of Bryan Plt.1089

He has been in MRP twice for two months each time. He is finally back to training and scheduled to graduate on Oct. 27! Yahoooo it's about time. He graduates on Nov 17th. Question - where is the nearest recruitors station to foley so that maybe he can do his recruitors assistance here? PRM Shirley

As you can see from my signature, I am way out of boot camp, but was checking on here for a friend whose son leaves today!!! We are in Montgomery, and I wanted anyone within driving distance to inbox me if they are intereseted in our small Marine Support Group. It is called Cammies (for CAMS - CEntral Alabama Marine Support). I did see Dora on here, and that is where my MIL is from. (Actually Sumiton, but went to school in Dora.) And I did see Brenda from Tuscumbia!!! That is not only the birthplace of Helen Keller, but also of my Marine Vet husband Berry!!! Small world!! OOOORAH to all your recruits!!! And I am envious of your upcoming graduation experiences!! That was an absolute high point in my entire life!!!!! (Right next to having the kids in the first place!!)
